Our Pre-School room is designed to encourage independence, choice and confidence. Resources are clearly labelled and placed at children’s height so they can easily access activities and develop their independence. Children are supported to play both independently and in small groups, helping to build social skills, confidence and curiosity as they prepare for the transition to school.

Messy Play Area
Our messy area allows children to freely choose from a wide range of creative activities such as playdough, painting, cornflour play, glitter, drawing and early writing. These activities encourage creativity, exploration and self-expression.

Cosy Carpet Area
The cosy carpet area offers a variety of toys and learning resources chosen to support school readiness. Children enjoy games that encourage sharing and turn-taking, construction toys that develop problem-solving skills, and a welcoming reading corner where they can relax and enjoy stories together.
